Eagle and the Condor Prophecy Fulfilled
Dear Friends,My name is Kymberlee Ruff, MFT. I am a Messenger of the "Hopi/Tibetan Prophecy".I have just returned from the "Return of the Ancestors" Gathering in Northern Arizona.
It turned out to be the "Fulfillment of the Eagle and the Condor Prophecy".I will do my best to describe the Gathering as accurately as I can.The Hopi Tribal Council did everything they could to prevent this the event from happening and allowing the Prophecy to unfold. There is a long history of conflict and in-fighting at Hopi. The Hopi/Tibetan Prophecy said that it was very important to have this Gathering. It says that it is important HOW we approached the Gathering: to complete the Eagle/Condor Prophecy with wisdom and compassion.
The Prophecies say that it is very important that Peace be brought back to Hopi if the world is to continue.
In the end it was held at the "Land of the Forgotten People" which is outside Hopi that was all Anasazi land long ago.Coincidentally, His Holiness the Dalai Lama came to Santa Barbara the day before the Gathering at Hopi.
I was told that this was not a coincidence at all. That after eons of fighting, the Dalai Lama's vision of total non-violence is important in healing the wounds of the past.
His Holiness reminded us that people that create "obstacles" are our "teachers". At the teaching on Friday, the Dalai Lama said that "The only way to true Peace is through Internal Disarmament."

I would like to thank so many wonderful people that helped this event to be realized. I do not know everyone's names but I really want to honor Ruben Saufkie and Adam Yellowbird for having the courage to go forward at the risk of being arrested.
I also would like to thank the many Elders, like Don Alejandro that came and met many times late into the night to pray and discuss how to proceed.
The conflict about whether or not to have the Gathering at the Hopi Reservation was SO interesting because of the similarities between the Hopi and the Tibetan cultures. By the time we got to Arizona, Hopi was on lock-down! The hotel reservations that had been made for the Elders at the Hopi Cultural Center last year, had all been erased. I heard that the highway was closed down and the BIA police were guarding the borders.
It was very much like what is happening today in Tibet with the occupation of the Chinese Government.
I feel very proud of the Elders and Participants that we handled the situation with grace and dignity and chose to have the Gathering in a way that would not offend or threaten anyone.
In the dream I had, Grandfather Dan Evehema, who died at age 108, had told us to "have a back-up plan" .
My friend Sakina Blue Star went and brought Grandfather Martin down to Sedona earlier in the week. Beata Nilson, my son Joe and I flew into Flagstaff after seeing the Dalai Lama. Sakina brought Grandfather Martin and we drove up to Tuba City just in time for Grandfather to be seated for the "Eagle and Condor Dance". Here is a picture Brian Hardin took of us as we arrived at the Gathering.
It was magnificent. When the Mayans were completed dancing, they honored Grandfather Martin. Here is one of Brian's pictures. It is the moment that Don Alejandro and Grandfather Martin met for the first time.
The Eagle and the Condor dancing was ONE OF the realizations of an ancient Mayan Prophecy.
When the Dance was over, the Mayan Condor Dancer said:
"Now that the Eagle and the Condor have Danced together, I will retire my wings because the Eagle and the Condor Prophecy has been fulfilled. I will float my Condor wings up 'The River of the Condor' back to the Creator."
I feel enormously blessed to have been able to witness history unfold.
