WE ARE HERE! We have turned the corner and are now living in the beginning of the Time of Never Ending Peace. The changes are now slowly beginning to manifest since December 21, 2012.
In the 8thc. Padmasambhava predicted at the time "When the Iron Eagle Flies and the Horse Runs on Wheels...my teachings will come to the West to benefit the world."
The teachings of the Buddha have definitely begun to "bring benefit to the West".
In 1959 His Holiness the Dalai Lama and other Tibetans were driven from their magical land from the rooftop of the world. Paradoxically this tragedy led to the miraculous good fortune of bringing their precious teachings of wisdom and compassion to a world that needed them. And just in time.

One of the places that this is happening is right here in Santa Barbara, California. Recently the Venerable 8th Thepo Tulku moved to SB. In January he helped to create the First Annual Summit for Tibet in Santa Barbara Week.
The Santa Barbara City Council declared it officially Summit for Tibet Week as it will be now every year!
During the week of January 20-26 Santa Barbara became "Tibet West". We had Tibetan speakers and dancers and singers and movies. The Venerable Lama Losang Samten, a man the Dalai Lama calls "Mandala Man", came and created the "Santa Barbara Wheel of Life" sand mandala.

The magic of these mandalas is that once they are dispersed, the vortex of compassion remains.
You can watch this wonderful video of Lama Losang constructing this very special mandala.

Coincidentally at the exact same time on the other side of the globe, another one of Padmasambhava's other Prophecies was also being realized: The Consecration of the Temple at Pema Kod. The magical land that Padmasambhava called "The Hidden Land".
Consecration of Pema Kod Stupa
It is the place that the Tibetan's consider Shambhala. Padmasambhava predicted that if the causes and conditions were met that this Holy Land would be discovered and one day available to all sentient beings.
Tulku Orgyen Rinpoche, the resident Lama at the Vairotsana Foundation in Santa Barbara, has spent many years going back and forth to Pema Kod to build the temple there.

On January 21, 2013 the Temple at Pema Kod was consecrated and is now open to visitors. Tulku Orgyen was given many original statues from His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche to house in the new Stupa.
Tulku Orgyen has now returned to Santa Barbara and continues to giving his precious teachings. We so incredibly lucky to have this amazing Rinpoche right here in Santa Barbara.

These are amazing times we are living in. And here is the best part: WE all did this TOGETHER!
We ALL created the Time of Never Ending Peace with our faith and our prayers and our collective Holy Efforts. Like the Hopi poem says:
"We Are the Ones We Have Been Waiting For."
May all beings benefit,
